For four months a year, Wellington is the centre of the horse world. Your website has to be ready in November.
Barns, trainers, vets, farriers, feed, transport, and every trade that keeps a show yard running. Wellington's calendar is unlike anywhere else in Palm Beach County, and almost no website here is built around it.
The season is the whole business
Most towns have a busy period. Wellington has a season that arrives on a date, brings the world with it, and then leaves.
The trap is obvious once it is written down: the only time you have to improve anything is the time you have decided does not count. Every year the site gets postponed to the summer, and every summer it gets postponed again because nothing is happening. Then November arrives.
Your customer may not be in this country
This is the part that makes Wellington genuinely different from every other page on this site.
They are booking before they arrive
An owner in Wellington for the winter is arranging a farrier, a vet, transport and a groom from somewhere else, weeks ahead, from a phone. They cannot drive past your yard and they will not ring a number in a different time zone on the chance somebody answers. Whatever your site says is the entire basis of the decision.
The details that quietly disqualify you
A form that insists on a US ZIP code. A phone number as the only way to reach you. Prices with no currency. None of these look like problems from inside the business, and each of them ends an enquiry from someone who was ready to book you.
What we build for a Wellington business
Four things, arranged around a season that does not wait.
A booking that survives the time difference
A real calendar with your actual availability, so a request at three in the morning Florida time is a confirmed slot rather than a voicemail you return two days later when they have already booked someone else.
Something that answers during the rush
In February you are in a barn with your hands full. An AI agent takes the call, answers the ordinary questions about services, rates and availability, and books what it can. It is the difference between a busy season and a season that costs you work.
Credentials, stated plainly
Certifications, insurance, years, the yards you have worked. Someone handing you a horse worth more than a house is making a trust decision, and trust here is evidence rather than styling.
A list you can actually use in October
Every enquiry captured through the year, in one place, so the pre-season message goes to people who already know you instead of into paid advertising against everyone else doing the same thing in November.
No Wellington client yet, and we will not pretend otherwise
Plenty of agency city pages imply a local roster that does not exist. Ours does not. We have not built for a Wellington business yet. Here is the nearest work, and you can judge it before deciding anything.
Nearest builds to Wellington
About 30 minutes eastShanti Yoga Shala and Cutz By AMP in Palm Beach Gardens, Lake Park Bicycles in Lake Park, and Empress Realty on Palm Beach. A yoga studio, a barbershop, a bike shop and a brokerage have little in common, which is rather the point: each one is built around the single action that matters for that business.
Questions from Wellington owners
Is a website worth it when my season is only four months?
It is worth more, not less. A compressed season means you cannot afford a slow week, and January's bookings are largely decided in October. A site that does nothing for eight months is a site built wrong.
My work comes from word of mouth in the barn. Why bother?
Because the referral gets checked. Someone recommends you at a show and the owner types your name into a phone that evening. The site is not replacing word of mouth, it is stopping word of mouth from leaking.
Half my clients are European. Does that change the build?
The practical details more than the design. Times that make sense to someone in Belgium, a contact route that is not only a US phone number, and a form that does not demand a state and a ZIP code from someone who has neither.
Have you built for an equestrian business before?
Not yet. What we have built is for businesses with the same shape: seasonal demand, a booking that matters more than a brochure, and an owner doing the work themselves. All of it is about half an hour east and you can look at every one.
Build it in the summer, not in November
The only sensible time to rebuild is the stretch everyone writes off. Half an hour now, and I will tell you what would genuinely change your season and what would just be spending.
